Prolongs life of synthetic rubber seals
Using the wrong kind of lubricants with your car can cost you money in repairs. Using the wrong kind of aircraft lubricants on your plane can cost you, well, a whole lot more, especially if you discover this mistake while you are flying at a few thousand feet. That’s why it’s always important to pay attention to the details. While Parker O-Lube is well suited for most sealing jobs within a -20°F to +300°F temperature range, those flying in a temperature range of -65°F to +400°F needs Parker Super O-Lube as their multi-purpose lubricant.
Parker Super O-Lube is a silicone based lubricant intended to compliment Parker O-Lube in that it can be used with virtually any rubber polymer. Beneficial for high pressure systems and vacuum uses, a little bit of Parker Super O-Lube goes a long way as only a thin film is necessary for optimum results. The lubricant can be used sparingly as only a thin film is necessary for optimum results
In addition, the lube is nontoxic and non-irritating when used under normal conditions. It is designed to not clog 30 micron filters and to provide superior adherence and moisture resistance.
